Research topics/interests

My post-doctoral position is focused on climate and health issue, seasonal predictions over Sahel, climate change Impacts on vector-borne diseases like malaria and climate change adaptation in general. The main aim of my research is to understand at a more fundamental level the climate drivers of the vector-borne diseases such as malaria.
In particular, my study is based on observations and modeling fed by atmospheric datasets using the Liverpool Malaria Model (LMM). Furthermore, I analyze malaria parameters performed with the LMM using meteorological datasets and different reanalysis products and
highlight the findings by coupling the LMM UNILIV and S4CAST UCM models in order to predict malaria parameters some months in advance.
